Widely regarded as a leader in special education, SINAI operates 8 schools for individuals ages 5-21, with a wide range of learning and developmental disabilities as well as other special needs. SINAI at JKHA, for elementary and middle school students in grades one through eight, partners with Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy (JKHA), located in Livingston, NJ. SINAI at JKHA serves students with a range of special needs, and boasts a professional-to-student ratio of 1:1.2.

SINAI at JKHA is seeking a highly motivated Judaic Studies teacher for the 2024-25 school year to teach children with special needs, ranging from ages 6-14. The individual should have a Master of Special Education and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with children.

Responsibilities
Teaching Jewish education to students with special needs ranging in ages 6-14
Collaborate with co-educators and parents to facilitate the most productive environment possible for each individual’s learning needs.

Qualifications
Master of Special Education (preferred)
3-5 years teaching experience, preferably within a special education setting
